Walking

The area is particularly good for walking. The Wolds Way passes within a mile of Duggleby, as does the centenary Way. There are also numerous paths on the Moors and along the coast. There is a good selection of walking guides in the cottage.

Shopping

As we are located in a rural location there are few local stores. However Malton lies only 6 miles away and has a large Safeway supermarket. The village post office is open on Mondays and Tuesdays, however there is a main Post office in Malton.

Public Transport

Public transport is by post bus, which leaves the village post office in the mornings and afternoon. The nearest mainline station is at Malton, on the York to Scarborough line.

Touring Information – There is a lot of information regarding places to visit, eat, theatres and walking books available in the cottage, to make the most of your stay.
